QB Update

Kentucky Coach Rich Brooks said Thursday that he hadn’t decided whether sophomore Mike Hartline or freshman Randall Cobb would start Saturday against Middle Tennessee State. However, UK offensive coordinator Joker Phillips indicated following Thursday’s practice that there would be no change in the starting lineup and that Hartline would take the first snap against the Blue Raiders. Brooks said that he’d continue to use both quarterbacks regardless of who starts.

“We’ll play both quarterbacks in first half, and depending on who’s moving the ball the best, that one might play more than the other one,” Brooks said.
