October 4th, 2008 by chipcosby | Filed under Ashton Cobb.University of Kentucky junior Ashton Cobb made the trip to Tuscaloosa and is in uniform for Saturday’s UK-Alabama game.
Cobb was reinstated to school this week after meeting in front of a university appeals board on Thursday. Cobb was suspended from school after being accused of stalking and terroristic threatening last weekend. Cobb entered a plea of not guilty on Wednesday.
Redshirt freshman Matt Lentz beat out Cobb at strong safety and started during UK’s 41-3 win over Western Kentucky last Saturday but is nursing an ankle injury. Junior Calvin Harrison will get the start.
He needs to be kicked off the team. He committed to crimes and needs to be punished. I teach and if I committed those same crimes my contract would be terminated so I don’t want to hear the second chance excuse. He should take his punishment and deal with it.
