Beets questionable

University of Kentucky right guard Jess Beets is questionable for Saturday’s game against South Carolina with a bruised knee. Beets, who has started all five games, did not practice on Tuesday, but UK Coach Rich Brooks hopes he can return to practice on Wednesday. Beets’ backup, redshirt freshman Stuart Hines, is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery to repair a cartilage tear in his knee.
