Mossakowski to have surgery for torn labrum

UK recruit Ryan Mossakowski will undergo surgery next week to repair a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder, his high school coach Mark Howard said on Wednesday.
Mossakowski, a 6-foot-4, 201-pound quarterback from Frisco (Tex.) Centennial, is one of the jewels of Kentucky’s 2009 recruiting class. He’s listed as a four-star prospect by both Rivals.com and Scout.com, and Rivals.com ranks him as the nation’s No. 9 pro-style quarterback.

Mossakowski Out For Season

UK quarterback recruit Ryan Mossakowski is out for the remainder of the season with a shoulder injury, Mossakowski’s coach, Mark Howard, told the Dallas Morning News. Mossakowski’s team, Frisco Centennial, is preparing for the Texas 4A Division II playoffs. Mossakowski is a four-star prospect by both Rivals.com and Scout.com

Mossakowski Goes Off

Ryan Mossakowski, the four-star quarterback from Texas who committed to Kentucky last month, opened his prep season with a bang last night, passing for four touchdowns in Centennial’s 71-20 romp over Denton. According to Rivals.com, Denton played a little more than a half and went 24-for-33 for 273 yards and had TD passes of 46, 30, 10, and 10 yards. Mossakowski, ranked he No. 9 pro-style QB in the country with the nation’s second-strongest arm by Rivals.com,  chose the Wildcats over Texas A & M and Alabama.
